The End of the Season - Californicaiton Season 3 is complete !

So we've been working for the last 12 weeks or so, diligently filming away in new and fun locations, trying to get the third Season of Californication in the can.  And, this week - it is done.  OF course, there is some paperwork and a bunch of editing to do - but, for the most part, we are through.  Tune in this September on Showtime.  It was a tough season, but a great one. Love working with this entire crew.  Hope you have as much fun watching it as we had making it.

Working On Saturday - An iPhone Perspective...

We are nearing the end of Season 3 on Californication, and We have some shots that we still need from past episodes - so, We had an  "Insert Shot Saturday".

We were filming this weekend and  I had the New iPhone on Hand -  Here is a quick look ( just for fun while playing around with the iPhone 3GS).

First impressions of the new iPhone 3G S

So I bit the bullet ( hardly anyone thought I would do otherwise)  and got the new 32GB iPhone 3GS.   To be fair - I did not upgrade to the 3G Last year.  I did not think that there was any major improvement that warrented spending the dough.

But this time - with a few of the latest extras - I'm really digging the upgrade.

The Compass which gives me the ability to get Google maps that point in the direction you are heading (and will eventually allow for Turn By Turn Direction GPS programs) is actually of practical use on the job. 

The Auto Focus Camera does a nice job and the Video -  Well here is a quick example  I posted on YouTube:

 The other big feature that is so cool - is the Voice Command  - With the Voice Command feature - You can speak and Dial A phone number and control the iPod.  A very handy feature for those of us who spend a lot of time in the car.

 Still playing around with it - but so far - I think it is the best Tech purchase I've made since... well - The first iPhone. :)
